Benjamin D. Lang is a Starkville, Mississippi native who graduated from Starkville High School in 1999. Ben earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in 2007 (summa cum laude), and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Mississippi in 2010 (cum laude).

 

Prior to working with the District Attorney’s office, Ben practiced as a partner at Vollor & Lang, PA in Starkville, Mississippi (2014-2019) and as a sole proprietor of The Lang Law Firm, PLLC in Starkville, Mississippi (2010-2014).

 

Before returning home to Starkville in 2005, Ben had a previous career in Film and Television, in Hollywood, California, and maintains an inactive membership in both AFTRA and the Screen Actors Guild.

 

Ben remains an advocate of the arts and is a past Board Member of the Starkville Community Theatre, where he currently serves as Vice President of Membership. Additionally, Ben has served as a past board member on the Starkville Foundation for Public Education, and the MSU Symphony Association. Ben and his wife Lauren maintain an active membership at New Covenant Church in Starkville.
